I would like to share with you one of my favourite Stories from Judith Kerr who died last year. If she were alive her birthday would be yesterday, the 14th of June. Her story was amazing like others Juish refugees that found a warm welcome in London (as my family did from Galicia many many years ago fleeing from difficulties here).
She was an awesome ilustrator an writer. I hope you enjoy it!
Tradución para familias: Gustaríame compartir con vós un dos meus contos preferidos de Judith Kerr que morreu o ano pasado. Se estivese viva o seu aniversario sería onte, o 14 de xuño. A súa historia foi moi impresionante como a de outros refuxiados xudíos que encontraron unha cálida benvida en Londres (igual que a miña familia o fixo dende Galicia fai moitos anos huindo das dificultades aquí).
